It normally gets power from the NCE Cab bus (for either mode).

If you are using it for track on a non - NCE system, the preferred option is to feed 9-12VDC from a wall wart into pins 2 & 5 of the Cab Bus socket. (pin 2 -ground, pin 5 -positive).

Inserting JP1 & JP2 in order to power the Analyzer from the track is not recommended as it bypasses the opto-isolation between the track and the DB9 RS232 socket and any attached computer.
