This is just some miscellaneous pictures from Ted Doskaris. I sold my cars to him. I bought them to check clearances on my layout, but they are too new for my era.

Adding Kadee couplers

There is a kind of draft gear at the end of the car, but it's just a slot.

The simple way is to add Kadees to the trucks, but they look bad and you have to use the offset coupler, which performs poorly under load, and just looks awful.

Thomas Hoff has found a clever and good looking way to adapt the Kadee "slack action" gearbox to body mount on these cars.
