Overview:

Ted "sort of" has 2 layouts, one under his house and one outside. They are actually linked together.

This is the "main" page for Ted's layout information.

There is an under-house layout that started as a dogbone, and has relatively broad curves and and run pretty long trains.

Then there is a track that goes out of the "basement" and uses a helix to access his back yard.

This of course allows operation in inclement weather, and storage of whole trains out of the weather.
