Titan Q2FX & ET sound filesOverviewThis page is for the sound files that can be used in a QSI TitanThe Titan decoders can accept two kinds of files:Q2-FX (the original Revolution sound files updated to work with the Titan)ET - Emulator TechnologyThere are a ton of advantages to using an ET sound file, read here:https://shedaker.wixsite.com/shedaker/emulator-technology-sound-filesI've added some notes on some of the sound files, some of the files have abnormally low or high levels default. Also note well: You cannot use the original Q2 files, they must be Q2 files updated for the Titan.Don't experiment with the wrong files for your Titan!File name conventions:By QSI convention, There is a model number (usually 4 digits), then a soundset number (some customization, usually horn/whistle/bell), and then a revision (major-minor-build).Not all files follow this, and also older files may not have a subversion.I further prepend the hardware version number on the file, because people are constantly trying to load files into the wrong hardware, the update program will tell you what hardware the file is for.LS Titan Sound files1101-200 - Q2FX - ALCoSound File # 1101-200Version 8.9.1Titan ET Replacement File(s)1127-2441101-300 - Q2FX - BaldwinSound File #1101-300Version 8.9.1Titan ET Replacement File(s)None Yet, Coming Soon!1101-400 - Q2FX - EMDSound File #1101-400Version 8.9.1Titan ET Replacement File(s)1132-567, 1141-6451101-500 - Q2FX - Fairbanks MorseSound File #1101-500Version 8.9.1Titan ET Replacement File(s)None Yet, Coming Soon!1101-600 - Q2FX - GESound File #1101-600Version 8.9.1Titan ET Replacement File(s)None Yet, Coming Soon!1101-680 - Q2FX - WintonSound File #1101-680Version 8.9.1Titan ET Replacement File(s)None Yet, Coming Soon!1115 - e8 - dual emd motors 1121-720/721 - Q2FX - BUDD RDCBudd RDCSound File #1121-721Version: 8.9.1Titan ET Replacement File(s)None Yet.1123 - Alco 244??? 1127 - ET - ALCo 244Sound File# 1127-244version: 9-3-2Prototype Locomotives: RS-2/3, FA/B, PA/B 1131 - ET - GE FDL12Sound File# 1131-FDL12version: 9-3-2Prototype Locomotives: B30-7, B36-7, C30-7,Dash 8-36b - Dash 9-44cw,P40-421132 - ET - EMD 567 Hood UnitSound File# 1132-567version: 9-3-2Prototype Locomotives: SW1-1200, NW2, GP7-35, Dual Motor Variants: DD35Notes: 1134 - ET - GE FDL16 (Old Style)Sound File# 1134-FDL16version: 9-3-2Prototype Locomotives: U25C, U28-U36Dual Motor Variant: U50*See 1144-U50 for Athearn U501136 - ET - ALCo 251Sound File# 1136-251version: 9-3-2Prototype Locomotives: S5/6, T6, RS10-36, C-Series,M-SeriesDual Motor Variant: C8551138 - ET - Cummins HBI-600Sound File# 1138-600version: 9-3-2Prototype Locomotives: GE 45 Tonner and other small GE diesel switchers.Dual Motor Variant: GE 45 Tonner and other small GE diesel switcher1141 - ET - EMD 645Sound File# 1141-645version: 9-3-2Prototype Locomotives: SW1500, MP15, GP15,GP38/40/50, SD38/40/50 Dual Motor Variant: DD401143 - ET - GE 7FDL16 (Modern)Sound File# 1143-7FDL16version: 9-3-2Prototype Locomotives: B30-7, B36-7, C30-7,Dash 8-36b - Dash 9-44cw,P40-421146 - ET - Fairbanks Morse 38d-6Sound File# 1146-38D6version: 9-3-2Prototype Locomotives: H10/12-441150 - ET - ALCo 539Sound File# 1150-539version: 9-3-2Prototype Locomotives: S1-4, HH series switchers, RS-1, Dual Motor variant: DL-1091158 - ET - EMD 710Sound File# 1158-710version: 9-3-0Prototype Locomotives: GP59/60 SD60/70/75/80/90Dual Motor Variant: None1162 - ET - EMD 567 Cab UnitSound File# 1162-567version: 9-3-2Prototype Locomotives: FT, F-Units, CF7, BL2Dual Motor Variants: E-Units1165 - ET - Budd RDC - 721Sound File# 1165-721New Haven VariantPrototype Locomotives: New Haven RDC with Hancock Air Whistle 1165 - ET - Budd RDC - 720Sound File# 1165-720version: 9-3-4As Delivered VariantPrototype Locomotives: As Delivered RDC 1, 2, 3, 41170 - ET - Winton 201aSound File# 1170-201version: 9-3-6Prototype Locomotives: Zephyrs, EMC SC, Model 90, SW, NC-NC2, T, NW, TADual Motor Variants: EA, E1-E2, ATSF 1, ATSF 1a, B&O 502101-730 - Q2FX - ELECTRICSound File #2101-730Version: 8.9.1Titan ET Replacement File(s)None Yet. Bellmaster & Hornmaster:These capabilites are in all Q3 diesel files. To take advantage of all the features like building your own horn, you need to use the Quantum CV Manager.Headend power:This is a little known feature that simulates a HEP prime mover. Head End Power gets assigned to a function Key, only assignable to NFF/NFR (you can't engage it while moving) loco will then behave just like a loco in HEP. Motor will be in N8 at all times and the only indication of notch change is the exhaust comes up in volume while the change is happening. If the loco is stationary long enough to go into low idle, it instead drops to N2 as is prototypical. Frankly, it makes the model boring as hell, but accurate.
