QSI hardware spotting guideOverview QSI has made a lot of decoders over the years, they basically fall into 3 categories:Quantum 1/1aRevolutionTitanI won't spend a lot of time on the Q1/Q1a, but the Revolution and the Titan are still in wide use.QSI Hardware idsQSI assigned hardware id's to it's decoders, which is helpful when you are trying to navigate the files for uploading to the decoder. The Q1/Q1a have replaceable roms, but the Revolution and Titan can have new firmware and sounds downloaded. There is a single file for the firmware and sounds.Below is a listing of the hardware id's I know of:1000 Quantum 1/1a - HO4000 Quantum 2, Revolution - Large Scale6000 Quantum 2, Revolution U - HO scalexxxx Revolution A - HO drop-inxxxx Titan A HO drop-in (don't know hardware number)7000 Quantum 2, Titan FX-U - HO Titan, also called Titan-U (there is a U/W variant with wires soldered to it)7002 Quantum 2, Titan FX-SD - Titan? what size?7021 Quantum 2, Titan FX-DO - O scale Titan - also called Titan-DO7022 Quantum 2, Titan Large Scale Titan1000 Quantum 1/1a - HO 4000 Quantum 2, Revolution - Large Scale 6000 Quantum 2, Revolution U - HO scale xxxx Revolution A HO drop-in (don't know hardware number) xxxx Titan A HO drop-in (don't know hardware number) 7000 Quantum 2, Titan FX-U - HO Titan, also called Titan-U U/W variant with wires soldered to itNote this is very similar to the 6000 Revolution, but on the left you see more wires, the greater number of outputs. You also see the block of small components to the right of the wires.7002 Quantum 2, Titan FX-SD - Titan? what size? 7021 Quantum 2, Titan FX-DO - O scale Titan - also called Titan-DO 7022 Quantum 2, Titan Large Scale Titan
